Materials needed in making Hai Phong steamed rice cake

- Taky Food rice flour: 300g

- Lean meat: 400g (200g as a filling, 200g as a dipping sauce)

- Pork tube bone: 1kg

- Wood ear: 50g

- Spices: Fish sauce, salt, MSG, pepper, ...

- Onions, garlic, fresh chili

- Fresh banana leaves for wrapping cakes

* How to make dipping sauce

Because dipping sauce will take a long time, you should make it first, or you can do it the day before and when it comes to dipping it will reheat later.

(1) Rinse the bones of the stew, boil them in boiling water to deodorize them, then place them in the stew pot over low heat for a few hours. Take care not to let the pot of water stew out of water too quickly because of a big fire, or stew too long. Add water as needed.

* How to make steamed rice cake

(1) Processing raw materials

(4) Mix rice flour with 500 ml of warm water, stir well to dissolve to form a water-like mixture. The consistency of the flour - water mixture will determine the softness of the cake. Should dilute to melt in the mouth immediately when eating.

(5) Arrange the banana leaf mold into the upper layer of the steamer, pour the mixture of duckweed to nearly each prepared banana leaf mold, continue to pour on top.

(5) Steamed steamed rice cake

Pour water into the lower layer of the steamer, bring to boil water and lower the heat.
